Remembrance Day 2020

After discussion with the City of Spruce Grove, and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not able to hold a Remembrance Day Ceremony at the TriLeisure Centre this 11th November 2020.

However, a small modified ceremony will be held at the Spruce Grove Legion at 10:30 am.  Unfortunately, and again due to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the size of our Branch, we must limit the number of people in the Branch.  Attendance is therefore restricted to Veterans and Legion Members (so no children this year please) and is on a pre-registered, first come-first served basis. To register please call 780-962-4598 and register with Cheryl. Alternatively, you may come to the Branch on Saturday, 31st October between 2 and 5 pm to register in person.  Email registrations cannot be accepted.  Walk-ins on 11th Nov will NOT be permitted as it is critical that we control our number in order to maintain our compliance with AHS and to protect our Veterans and Legion Members.

The City will be posting a Remembrance Service Announcement.

We invite everyone to please observe a moment of silence, wherever you may be, at the 11th hour of November, to mark the sacrifice of so many.
